While Paul and his comrades are at first idealistic about serving their country, the brutality of war shatters their realities as they fight to survive. Originally released to streaming via Netflix in late 2022, the film garnered nine Academy Award nominations this year, including Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best International Feature, and is now seeing a limited theatrical run.
